It was a cold, gray day when Sim came home with the news. I remember thinking you were so amazing at the funeral home ... standing strong in your faith ... grateful for the wonderful life she had. I remember laughing with you, years later, as you were sharing with me some of the items in her purse. Today I'm crying with you, over those same memories ... in sympathy for the pain of realizing how much time has passed ... and about the strength, and strength of character, of Travis ... and because I'm now a mom, and can't imagine it.
